The Lost Princess

SO! This started out as a fun little project for me to play with my new set of gouache paint..... which turned into a mixed media ball of fun! Rapunzel (and Ariel, who is next) are my absolute favourite princesses and this was a blasty blast!!

Cinderella!

This was a commission for a friend of mine! Her nephew loves Cinderella and she wanted her playing a sport he loves! So here we go! (It was a bonus that one of his favourite sports is also my favourite sport!) It's for his birthday, so I hope he likes it!

Gotta love the big blue bow!

Sorry about disappearing for a few days! Naturally when I decide to post daily sketches, I catch the plague. Finally starting to feel better, though!

Inking practice

I got some ink pens the other day... so, using my thumbnail sketches from my Christmas card giveaway, I decided to practice using inking traditionally!

It's been a hundred years since I last used India ink to do anything (and even then, I was just messing around for school) so I'm pretty.... not pro. Lol. Gotta keep practicing!!

Random?

I am that person who doesn't like movies starring animals. I just don't. There are a few that I do like, however. And for some reason today I got the urge to draw Roger and Anita. I love their designs. Anita is so pretty and princess-like, and Roger is so unique and loveable!

More to come!
