Oh mys.

Another week has been escaping me! I can't believe how quickly time goes by!

And speaking of quick.....

I inked this up weeks ago, but it was SUPER rushed and I haven't had the motivation to redo it. Tonight, I randomly opened the file and started splashing colours on... and ... I'm actually kinda happy with it lol. I like the quick look, and I never do greyscale anymore. Like, ever. So this was a fun little exercise.

Huzzah! One less thing on my to-do list!

Colour Practice!

Same old story. Wanted to practice colouring. This was the result!


BUT! I want to make sure that everyone is fully aware: I did NOT draw this. The hugely talented Lucas is the pro behind this! Check out his gallery, especially if you're a Marvel fan. He has some really awesome stuff there.

And there we go! I've been wanting to colour something of his for ages. And since you can never go wrong with Domino, I chose this one! I wanted to do something with colours I don't normally use, as well.

A Little Tenderness

So, I don't have much to say about this piece. I was, again, experimenting with colouring methods. I'm still trying to get my sea legs back for colouring more traditionally. It's been a long time since those portraits at Sheridan! Also, I messed up on milady's hairstyle, haha. Let's just pretend she just had a haircut.

Overall, I'm satisfied. However, there are some things that bother me. Which I may end up fixing eventually. Who knows. For now, though, I want to keep moving forward!

"Special Delivery!"

This piece was a PILE of experimenting. I tried a new way of colour hair, eyes, skin, clothes... lol. It may not look at that different from normal, but I'm really pleased with the outcome. Very pleased.

And why do I keep drawing these characters? I dunno. I just love them! This time she's bringing her special friend (boyfriend? Crush?) lunch at work. He loves her cooking!

Failed again. However, since I roughed out all three pieces this week, on top of working almost every day.. I'm not gonna go too hard on myself, lol. Anyway! I have a few of the on-the-go colour pieces to show. Just flats for now, but I absolutely wanted to post something this week.
