Yeah! I’m still working on my own comic! (I swear) Here is Alexis, one of my characters from Trust Once Lost. I’ve drawn her a few times before. This was an old doodle sitting around that I went and inked up tonight!

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates last month. I had a BIG project I was working on and it took up the entire month (plus planning wedding events with/for my best friend as well! Busy summer!!)

In any case, I will have more news later but for now, have a WIP! This is what I'm playing around with for my business card at the moment!

Alexis is a tribute to the strong women in my life. She’s a mixture of my sister, my best friend and another close friend of mine. Except she sleeps with a lot of men. Because there will be sex of some description in this comic. 

Side note: I was playing with colour on this one. And managed to turn her into a frost giant. I’m okay with this.

So I have a couple sketches I did over the week! Turns out there is a lot of waiting time at work, so I can doodle while I do so.

Couple different things... I just kept adding to the page! Haha. Wonder Woman is actually a tattoo design for myself that I'm playing with. Very, very rough.

Catching up.

Not on posts (I know. I think hell froze over) .. but on sketches that have been building up in my books!

And there we go! Most of these were done at work the last little while.. And I'm a little surprised I sketch anything at work at all! It's a little intimidating having an entire table staring at you while you're sketching. (Not being egotistical, they were just watching haha. But it makes me so nervous!)

Anywho, more to come for sure. I'd also like to wish everyone a happy and safe St. Patty's Day! Go ruin your livers but remember to behave and never EVER EVER drink and drive.

Uuugh.

Been a long and hard week. With all the busyness I've been blissfully ignoring facing the end of a very important and special chapter in my life. Now, unfortunately, with the extra free time I have I've been forced to face it and it's a wee bit distracting. Still, though, here we go!

It's actually more of a re-hash of a sketch I did around this time last year. I rather like this character, just because he's not the usual character I create. He's quirky and he's more of a fantasy type character, which is something I haven't dabbled with since my teens.

It's rough, messy and quick but I shall revisit him again at some point. Get something decent out! For now, I'm going to sleep and get a fresh start tomorrow!
