Alexis!

Yeah! I’m still working on my own comic! (I swear) Here is Alexis, one of my characters from Trust Once Lost. I’ve drawn her a few times before. This was an old doodle sitting around that I went and inked up tonight!

Cleaning up..

So I was cleaning up some old files...

Way back in 2011 I posted this panel. I did the inks for the main section pretty soon after, but never bothered to finish. So in the spirit of moving forward, here are those inks! It's not the whole image, but I don't think it's worth spending more time.

It's absolutely not perfect (I wasn't flipping as much as I should back then) but I love this for different reasons; I was so proud of it when I first completed it because I thought to myself "man! For me, this is good! I've really improved" and now I look back on it and love it for almost the same reason.. to see how much I've improved.

So! Here's to moving forward!!

Alexis is a tribute to the strong women in my life. She’s a mixture of my sister, my best friend and another close friend of mine. Except she sleeps with a lot of men. Because there will be sex of some description in this comic. 

Side note: I was playing with colour on this one. And managed to turn her into a frost giant. I’m okay with this.

Busy weekend!

Sorry about the lack of update last week. I had intended to update once more before the weekend, but life got ahead of me.. and since I spent the weekend at two concerts (Britney Spears and LMFAO!), I ran outta time! But, here we go!

Here we have Alexis all finished! I'm not satisfied with this though... there's something about it that's bothering me. Hrm. Oh well! It was still fun (and I like her corset, haha. Are we noticing a trend?)

Which I really shouldn't be doing. I should be script-writing. However... when a scene gets stuck in your head...!

New stuff!

I was relieved to realize that, while I hadn't updated, I was actually still drawing a lot. I just wasn't scanning it in! So I spent the afternoon catching up!

These are some character designs I'm still finalizing. I'm having a rough time deciding on style, mostly. And the writing part... but I always struggle with writing. Oh well. It'll come!
