Cleaning up..

So I was cleaning up some old files...

Way back in 2011 I posted this panel. I did the inks for the main section pretty soon after, but never bothered to finish. So in the spirit of moving forward, here are those inks! It's not the whole image, but I don't think it's worth spending more time.

It's absolutely not perfect (I wasn't flipping as much as I should back then) but I love this for different reasons; I was so proud of it when I first completed it because I thought to myself "man! For me, this is good! I've really improved" and now I look back on it and love it for almost the same reason.. to see how much I've improved.

So! Here's to moving forward!!

Another sketch dump...

These I mostly drew on my lunch breaks. Glorious, glorious lunch breaks. The time where I can relax my brain....

Catching up.

Not on posts (I know. I think hell froze over) .. but on sketches that have been building up in my books!

And there we go! Most of these were done at work the last little while.. And I'm a little surprised I sketch anything at work at all! It's a little intimidating having an entire table staring at you while you're sketching. (Not being egotistical, they were just watching haha. But it makes me so nervous!)

Anywho, more to come for sure. I'd also like to wish everyone a happy and safe St. Patty's Day! Go ruin your livers but remember to behave and never EVER EVER drink and drive.

Big changes!

I finally purchased my new mac! I got rid of my old computers, so it's been difficult to draw/ink/scan because I was getting everything set up.

There she is! <3 I love it sooo much. However, I still have to buy an adapter for my tablet and I'm a little rusty with inking in PS, but I'll get back in my groove soon enough.

A little doodle I did on my lunch break today.

Off to bed! Another long day tomorrow.

Stupid fluffy dreams.

More crap based on dreams. I have all this ... pent up need for romance inside me, I just need to get it out!!

But it was nice to sit at my drafting table and go nuts. And this song was my soundtrack while I was drawing. Seriously, it's been stuck in my head for two freaking days. Dammit!

It's not all bad.

Occasionally life gives you a couple of nice things amidst all the crap. Just some food for thought!

Well, it's Christmas again! The last few days have been great. I'm lucky and truly fortunate to have the family and friends I have. Thanks, from the bottom of my heart, for always being there.

Enough mushy stuff, on to a long overdue sketch! Based on a happy little dream I had last night.... :)

What? More than one?

Oh yes, it's true!

I know it seems like I haven't been doing much lately, but in actual fact.. the first chapter of my script is done and I've started roughing out pages! Not only that, but I've been roughing out pages for a children's book as well! So, I've actually been doing a fair bit... I just, unfortunately, can't show anything yet! Ugh!! Haha.

Just a couple pose sketches I was playing with... and decided to drop!

Which I really shouldn't be doing. I should be script-writing. However... when a scene gets stuck in your head...!

More catch-up!

More things to catch up with.  Same thing, working with character designs. In this case, it's just one character mostly: Benjamin. In his case, he's actually one part of the bakery couple from before, but his background/personality are different. Ben is also taller. Considerably. So.. really... all I kept about "David" was the look. Hah. I guess that's how it goes when you like the look of a character!

Anyway. I'll stop now! More catch-up stuff to come this week.
