Another commission!

This time I was asked to do a picture of the client's friend as Wolverine (hence tattoos) facing off against Batman! With a few other personal touches for the friend as well. :)

This took a lot longer than I had thought it would-- it was very challenging! Basically, everything that gives me trouble all rolled into one piece, lol. BUT! I like a good challenge, so I'm pleased with how it came out! And the client is happy too, so even better!!

Catching up!

I posted all of this on my tumblr earlier, but here we go!

So, earlier this week I got inspired by a wonderful little fic... and started doodling. Which turned into a 2 page comic.

I've penciled out the pages and am currently in the process of inking/lettering them. It's just taking longer than expected! Mostly because things keep coming up!

Annnd, a couple of Donna Noble sketches I did. One was on a break at work and the other was done at 2am one night when I had a little extra creative energy, haha.

Showing some love for the Avengers... because DAMN. I love that movie.

And... I kinda love Nat and Clint together. Lovers, good friends, whatever.

Unfortunately for Clint, I'm positive Nat could drink him under the table. Twice.

Couple o' comics!

It has been a CRAZY week. I ended up getting really really sick in the middle of the most disgusting heatwave of the season (so far). It was horrid. Needless to say, not much commission work got done. However, I did manage to churn out these short little comic strips for a family newsletter. Also: don't worry about not getting the jokes. They're family inside jokes that you aren't supposed to understand!

Comic.

Okay, I wanted to post this as is for now.. mostly because I don't know what I'll get finished tomorrow evening. But here we go.

I randomly did a short little comic; it's a one-shot, using those characters from my Valentine's day picture. Here's my thing: I did the story behind it based on something that happened to me, and since I'm far too embarrassed to actually post the dialogue, you all get to sort of... make up what you want the dialogue to be, haha. The first page is almost finished, with some minor things needing to be done (ie, the background in the first frame- which you'll see is just roughly sketched in) .. while the second page is only a thumbnail for now. I have a rough lined version, but I haven't scanned it. I'm tired and lazy, leave me alone, lol. Anyway, I'm going to stop rambling now.

And there you go! Hope you like! And hopefully I'll get the cleaned up version(s) posted soon. Still working on the HatterxAlice pic as well.
