Still trying to work it out! Spent most of the afternoon doing hand gestures and then the last little while doing this!

One of my favourites..

I've been obsessed with the BBC Sherlock (again) recently and I've been meaning to just sit down and draw out my favourite hero for AGES, but just never got around to it. Well, today I finally did. Just a bunch of 1-2 minute doodles. Nothing fancy.

I just LOVE Benedict Cumberbatch... he's just perfect in the role and he's got such a great body type! Haha, I just want to draw it all the time.

A little something for the weekend...

Yesterday I allowed myself to just take the day off and relax. It was nice ... and very, very needed.

I had Gotye stuck in my head AGAIN and decided to branch off and check out Kimbra. I got a little inspired by this song (and the video itself-- it's lovely) and that's where this came from:

Getting back to the basics.

Literally. It's been a while since I used After Effects. I forgot how much I love it!



Haha, for those who've done the Basic Training at Video Co-Pilot.net, you know that this is exactly what he did in one of the sessions! For now, I am okay with this. I'm mostly just happy I'm keeping myself (distracted) busy. :) I want to experiment a little more with motion graphics in general!

Uuugh.

Been a long and hard week. With all the busyness I've been blissfully ignoring facing the end of a very important and special chapter in my life. Now, unfortunately, with the extra free time I have I've been forced to face it and it's a wee bit distracting. Still, though, here we go!

It's actually more of a re-hash of a sketch I did around this time last year. I rather like this character, just because he's not the usual character I create. He's quirky and he's more of a fantasy type character, which is something I haven't dabbled with since my teens.

It's rough, messy and quick but I shall revisit him again at some point. Get something decent out! For now, I'm going to sleep and get a fresh start tomorrow!

Welcome back?

I think I kind of hate having a day off, haha. Gives me too much time to think.

Anyway.

I found a meme online that challenged you to take an old piece and do it in your current style. I planned to do this, but found an older piece that I actually just wanted to fix up and ink. So I did that instead.

I'm gradually getting back into my inking groove on PS. Thankfully. Still playing around to get exactly what I want, but it'll come! I'm excited to get back into colouring. It will be interesting!

Big changes!

I finally purchased my new mac! I got rid of my old computers, so it's been difficult to draw/ink/scan because I was getting everything set up.

There she is! <3 I love it sooo much. However, I still have to buy an adapter for my tablet and I'm a little rusty with inking in PS, but I'll get back in my groove soon enough.

A little doodle I did on my lunch break today.

Off to bed! Another long day tomorrow.
